About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a talented Pastry Chef who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection of over 40 fresh-baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins made with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven track record of kitchen abilities.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, lift, and mix.
• Ability to work through change and be flexible.
• Must be an early bird, as all shifts start early.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience.
• Experience in working quickly to decorate amazing pastries.
• Formal baking/pastry education.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and pay close attention to details to create pastries and baked goods.
• Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Stand, lift, and mix ingredients.
• Work through change and be flexible while monitoring cooking.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
