About The Position
Stanchfield Baptist Church is seeking a pastor to shepherd the people of God by boldly preaching, teaching, and praying from the word of God. We’re looking for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships, loves the charm of small-town life, and enjoys connecting with families, kids, and teens in our community. We want a dynamic communicator who can inspire from the pulpit, a caring leader who guides with compassion, and a mentor who can uplift our congregation and leadership team. Together, we’ll expand our spiritual impact both locally and beyond, creating a community where worship, discipleship, and outreach come to life!
Requirements
- Full-time male senior pastor candidate.
- Mature relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated through a life of integrity, humility, and prayer.
- Dedicated to the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
- Aligns with our church’s doctrinal beliefs.
- Expository preaching style (primarily defined as through a book of the Bible and verse by verse preaching).
- Has a young family who would live in the parsonage as part of the compensation.
- Has a Bible-related degree with a willingness to pursue a Master’s degree.
- Previous pastoral experience (preferably 3-5 years ministry experience).
