About The Position

Christ Community Church (CCC) is seeking applicants for a part-time Pastor. CCC is a nondenominational Christian church founded in 1822, affiliated with the 4Cs (Conservative Congregational Christian Conference), with an average weekly attendance of 20–25 people and one Sunday morning service each week. The pastor will lead the church’s leadership and congregation in ongoing spiritual growth.

Close personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through a spirit of acceptance, love, and care for each person.
Master of Divinity

Responsibilities

Spiritual care of the church in partnership with the Diaconate.
Visiting the sick.
Making home and hospital visits.
Participating in church activities.
Reaching others with the message of Christ.
Preaching the Gospel.
Administering sacraments and ordinances.
Leading public worship services.
Supporting the church’s ministries in collaboration with its boards and committees.
Advising all boards and committees and may serve as an ex officio member at their discretion.
Leading the church in conducting its mission.
Fostering a community of worship, education, ministry, and service.
Proclaiming the Gospel to both believers and nonbelievers.
Caring for church members and others in the community.
Leading the congregation in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) at least once each month.
Officiating believer baptisms and the dedication of infants and young children as needed.
Officiating weddings and funerals as needed.
Providing pastoral care in the most effective ways possible.
