About The Position

Osterhout Bible Church is seeking a faithful, biblically grounded Pastor to lead this rural congregation in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, through a season of transition and renewal. The church is looking for a shepherd who will provide sound, expository preaching that prioritizes the whole counsel of God, lead local outreach to the unchurched in the Tunkhannock community, and foster discipleship and fellowship across all generations. After 25 years of faithful leadership, Osterhout's current pastor (68) has expressed his intent to retire but has committed to remain in ministry for as long as the search takes. The congregation is a firmly established, independent and autonomous body of fewer than 50 members, seeking a patient leader with a heart for rural ministry and a vision for long-term church revitalization.
