About The Position

As a key player in our production process, you’ll operate and monitor our High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) pasteurization system, ensuring that our dairy products meet the highest safety and quality standards. As an HTST Operator at our dairy production facility, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) pasteurization system. Your duties will include setting up and maintaining equipment, ensuring proper pasteurization of dairy products, and conducting routine quality checks. You'll troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, maintain detailed records of production runs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering safe, high-quality dairy products to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food production and manufacturing environment required
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in pasteurization/ HTST preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete milk and cream pasteurization and related CIP processes.
  • Batch products as needed.
  • Log ingredients in Factory Track software, ensuring accuracy.
  • Document information on Pasteurization charts per regulations.
  • Monitor fats, solids, and allergens in dairy products.
  • Maintain equipment sanitation through CIP and manual cleaning.
  • Report food safety/quality issues to management.
  • Promote a safe work environment and follow 5S and GMP standards.
