About The Position

Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning parks and recreation agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational programs, classes, and events as well as facilities, parks and open spaces! We offer birthday party packages for preschool children to age 12 and include 2-3 hours of crafts, games, & activities. We offer various party types, including: Splashaway parties, sports parties, Basic parties, Safety Town parties, and a variety of themed parties. We also now offer bridal and baby shower packages!

Responsibilities

• Leading each party, ensuring a fun and safe event for all!
• Cleaning up and setting up the party room
• Greeting guests at the door with a friendly smile and personalized welcome
• Communicating with parents, children, and guests throughout the event
• Leading all activities with enthusiasm, energy, and a high level of enjoyment
• Assisting with all refreshments, presents, and decorations
