About The Position

Finning Canada is seeking a Summer Student Warehouse Associate to join their team in Surrey for a temporary 4-month position. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks including general warehouse duties, yard maintenance, and assisting shop personnel. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, self-motivated, and values hard work and integrity. Finning is the world's largest Caterpillar dealer, providing service for over 80 years, selling, renting, and providing parts and service for equipment and engines across various industries like mining, construction, petroleum, and forestry. Finning employs approximately 14,500 people worldwide with its head office in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The company operates in three geographies: Finning Canada (authorized Caterpillar dealer in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, NWT, and part of Nunavut), Finning South America (Chile, Argentina, Bolivia), and Finning UK and Ireland. Rental services are offered through dealerships and The Cat Rental Store locations. Finning also includes OEM Remanufacturing, one of North America's most advanced engine and powertrain component remanufacturing providers located in Edmonton, Alberta.

Requirements

• Completion of grade 12 and enrolled in a post–secondary education program
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail orientation capable of working under minimal supervision

• Computer literacy and previous Warehouse / Yard Maintenance experience
