About The Position

The Parts Handler will be responsible for processing parts order activities and maintaining associated paperwork using Intermec handheld scanners. This role involves receiving, picking, packaging, and sorting parts orders, ensuring accuracy of delivery location. The handler will also unload, sort, and stage daily stock, and participate in inventory counting, surplus, and relocations throughout the year. Key duties include verifying part location and quantity, researching and assembling hydraulic hoses, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. The position requires regularly lifting, moving, and positioning equipment and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the Parts Handler will assist customers directly with Will Call orders, pick/load orders, process returns, receive orders based on priority, and follow up on orders awaiting pickup.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical knowledge and ability to use basic tools.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Forklift experience.
Strong computer skills and experience with handheld scanners.

Responsibilities
