About The Position

The Parts Warehouse position operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager. The primary responsibilities include receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing for the shipping of products stored in the warehouse. This role also involves leading the primary responsibilities of the warehouse and delegating tasks to other warehouse personnel. Key duties include managing product inventory, operating a forklift, maintaining a safe work environment, resolving inventory discrepancies, and supervising a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

• Prior Forklift Certification Preferred, but not Required

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and store new and existing products
• Take inventory and keep records of product stored in the warehouse
• Organize for the shipping of product stored in the warehouse
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, or sort product
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Report any discrepancies in inventoried product
• Generate creative solutions to inventory issues as they arise
• Maintain a team of warehouse personnel
• Supervise warehouse team in similar duties
• Delegate duties and create systems to help build an effective team environment
• Other duties as assigned
