About The Position
The role of Parts Warehouse is to perform a variety of tasks in receiving and shipping parts and maintaining / organizing the warehouse area. The Parts Warehouse employee must perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation efficiently and accurately, and without causing significant safety threat to self or others. Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- One-year parts/warehouse related experience.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Knowledge of company specific software.
Responsibilities
- Receives parts that are shipped in, making sure that they are received in good condition and that packing slips for inventory control.
- Packs and ships parts to both customers and suppliers in the most efficient manner.
- Maintains a log of all outgoing shipments and all shipping and receiving damages or shortages as well as other documents necessary to protect the inventory investment.
- Stocks all parts into the proper location in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in.
- Operates a fork lift truck.
- Keeps all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, neat, and clearly labeled.
- Assists Warranty Administrator and Inventory Coordinator when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
