About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including stocking, loading, unloading, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment.

Requirements

Move product and inventory using a forklift and bin system.
Knowledge of warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping and receiving.
Knowledge of proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.
Interpersonal skills using patience and courtesy.

Responsibilities

Removing products from pallets and crates.
Stocking store shelves with merchandise with the aid of carts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Stocking of lightweight products above 7’ high with rolling/locking step ladder.
Loading and unloading pallets from trucks and trailers with a forklift.
Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Parts Manager.
Organizes the warehouse for the purpose of ensuring availability and efficient distribution of supplies and materials and a safe work environment.
Conducts physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
Inspects warehouse equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in safe operating condition.
Break down cardboard for recycling.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
