The Warehouse Clerk is expected to accurately, timely, and thoroughly assess receipt of all incoming merchandise to document and maintain accurate records. They should seek ways to improve business operation efficiencies and customer service, and act as a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful. This role reports to the Parts Manager and is crucial for maximizing production, customer service, and profitability by maintaining stock records and bins for quick access, effectively distributing orders, processing claims for defective merchandise, and managing incoming stock and customer returns. The position also requires completing all required training, maintaining a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA/EPA requirements, protecting confidential information, assisting with customer payments, and handling job stress effectively. A strong emphasis is placed on operating with integrity, demanding high ethical standards, maintaining composure, and setting an example of positive attitude and professionalism.
