The Parts Warehouse Clerk/Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and picking up parts and equipment for customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Coordinating with the Parts Manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, and parts counterpersons prior to leaving the dealership for any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Receiving all parts.
• Pulling stock from shelves and staging for delivery.
• Stocking parts to the correct storage location.
• Notifying the manager of any errors or issues with inventory.
• Unloading the truck each night and turning in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Handling basic maintenance of the parts truck, including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and ensuring required inspections are performed.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, grooming, and uniform appearance daily.
• Serving as back-up for Parts Clerk for inventory functions.
• Matching purchase orders and invoices, approving, and forwarding to the Accounting Office.
