This essential role keeps our parts operation moving by managing inventory, receiving shipments, fulfilling orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse. Requirements
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
- Willingness to adapt to changes in warehouse processes and procedures
- Flexibility to handle a variety of warehouse tasks
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory. Willingness to obtain certification if required
Responsibilities
- Verify quantities and document any discrepancies
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping
- Coordinate with carriers and ensure timely dispatch of outgoing shipments
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified standards
- Complete and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and other warehouse activities
