About The Position

Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is proud North American leader in transportation equipment and solutions. We’re full-service and fully loaded with an industry-leading diverse fleet of over 80,000 trailers and a support network of 240 service bays, 118 mobile service trucks, and 430+ skilled mechanics.
Maintaining parts orders for the service center and ensuring the organization of shipping and receiving of Parts and cleaning the Shop.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written French and English
• Strong customer service orientation
• Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.
• Strong computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Shipping/receiving and inventory management considered an asset
• Valid Driver's licenses, asset
• Forklift experience with valid license, asset
• Trailer/Transportation industry experience, asset

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders electronically.
• Receive, stock, and maintain parts inventory.
• Process parts orders and assist with quotes for service department.
• Obtain supplier quotes and order parts as needed.
• Handle inbound/outbound parts and customer inquiries.
• Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and reporting.
• Assist with shop maintenance, safety inspections, and property upkeep.
• Pick up/deliver parts or tools as required.
• Maintain accurate records and a clean, safe work environment.
• Support shop staff with various tasks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
