Requirements

• Journeyperson Parts Technician designation or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Parts department.
• Experience using online inventory systems and standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office and other browser-based programs, along with a demonstrated understanding of sales processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience connecting with customers while maintaining a professional image and establishing rapport.
• Strong time management skills, ability to be adaptable, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter by understanding their needs and efficiently locating the correct parts to get them back up and running.
• Read and interpret parts diagnostics, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure precision in every order.
• Navigate computerized inventory systems and parts libraries to track down the perfect part.
• Follow up on special orders and keep customers informed as soon as their parts arrive.
• Help create and maintain eye-catching merchandising displays that showcase our parts and promotions.
• Actively promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns, boosting sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure every customer feels valued and appreciated, creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
