About The Position

C & B Operations is seeking a Parts Specialist for their John Deere dealership in Sibley, IA. This role is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude to meet customer needs. The position offers a fast-paced environment with potential for outside sales development and participation in an on-call rotation during seasonal hours.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic parts and machinery knowledge
Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

Prior sales experience
John Deere equipment knowledge
Ability to operate a fork lift
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
Verifies receiving of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
