About The Position

C & B Operations is hiring a Parts Specialist for its Selby, South Dakota location. The position sells, receives, and delivers parts and accessories, serving customers and supporting service technicians. The role is in a fast-paced environment and may offer potential to develop into outside sales. The employee is expected to participate in an on-call rotation as needed during seasonal hours. Requirements

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to meet the physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required for the job, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
Basic data-entry/keyboarding skills.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

Prior parts sales experience.
Knowledge of John Deere equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Potential to develop outside sales skills.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs.
Supply Service Technicians with parts as required.
Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
Verify the receipt of shipments and assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
Help keep the parts department clean and orderly.
Follow up on shortages and expedite issues by reporting them to the manager.
Help maintain departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
Participate in the on-call rotation as needed during seasonal hours.
