About The Position

The VMF Parts Specialist at G&C Foods will be responsible for all duties and responsibilities listed below for the Transportation Department. The VMF Parts Specialist will work directly with all VMF staff on the responsibilities below.

Requirements

Excellent Customer Services skills required.
Excellent Communication skills required.
Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Heavy Duty Parts experience is a plus.
Inventory Management is a Plus
CDL A or B is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in Transportation or Logistics a plus
Experience in the Food Industry a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory items with high turnover rates and order at the best price from all available vendors.
Create PO’s for all VMF parts and supplies ordered.
Receive all PO’s verifying all quantities and pricing.
Special order any non-stock items as needed.
Perform monthly inventories of parts room.
Ensure all parts are correctly priced in maintenance software.
Distribute parts to mechanics during workday as needed
Run, send, and maintain all parts use and inventory reports as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts room.
Assist with daily cleaning and trash removal from VMF as needed.
Build repair orders from all red tag emails.
Assist VMF Staff with Road calls
Other duties as assigned by VMF management and supervision.
