About The Position

The Parts & Shipping Clerk will act as the parts representative for walk-in customers, source parts for lift trucks, and take phone orders. This role involves providing parts quotes, ordering parts for stock, and assisting with inventory control. The clerk will also work with dispatchers to transfer parts stock between branches, support sales representatives with quoting and pricing, and assist with shipping and receiving. A key aspect of this role is providing excellent customer service and supporting all sectors of the Bailey Company.

Requirements

  • High school education (minimum)
  • Computer literacy (Willingness and ability to work with new computer programs)
  • Customer Service (Ability to interact with customers in person and over the telephone, Willingness to observe proper phone etiquette/manners)
  • Ability to work well with co-workers

Responsibilities

  • Act as parts representative to walk-in customers.
  • Source parts for lift trucks.
  • Take phone orders from customers.
  • Provide parts quotes to customers.
  • Order parts for stock.
  • Assist with inventory control.
  • Work with dispatchers to transfer parts stock between branches.
  • Assist Bailey Company sales reps with quoting and provide pricing to them when they are in the field.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Support all sectors of the Bailey Company.
