About The Position

The Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying parts delivery quantities against manufacturer freight bills, packing slips, and invoices, as well as inspecting incoming freight for damage. This role involves notifying the parts manager of any discrepancies or damages, maintaining records of special order parts, and informing service advisors and technicians about completed special orders. The clerk will also stock freight to the correct bin locations, fill wholesale orders, coordinate with dispatch and delivery drivers for customer deliveries, and assist front and back counter personnel with order pulling and staging. Additionally, the position involves shuttling parts to technicians, restocking fast-moving shelves daily, and maintaining a professional appearance and workspace. Responsibilities

  • Verify that parts delivery quantities match manufacture freight bill while insuring they are correct against the packing slips/invoices.
  • Inspect incoming freight for damage.
  • Notify parts manager of any shortages of incoming freight or damaged freight.
  • Keep orderly records of special order parts in process.
  • Notify service advisors and techs for all completed special order parts orders.
  • Stock all freight to the correct parts bin locations (special order and stocking bin locations).
  • Fill all wholesale orders and work with dispatch and deliver drivers for prompt and accurate delivery to our customers.
  • Assist front and back counter personnel with pulling and staging of customer orders and delivery of parts.
  • Assist service technicians and service advisors with availability quotes.
  • Shuttle parts and accessories from the parts department to the technicians.
  • Restock fast-moving shelves on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and an orderly work space.
