About The Position

To support our Parts Shipping team in a temporary, seasonal role using RF Scanners to manually pick parts from set locations to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk entire workday
  • Ability to safely use hand tools
  • Ability to use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
  • Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 1 year of experience using RF Scanners or similar equipment
  • At least 1 year of experience using ORACLE, UPS and FedEx shipping systems
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or for minors, a valid Pennsylvania Work Permit

Responsibilities

  • Use RF Scanner to pick parts from set locations and deliver them to Quality Inspection/Packaging area using a wheeled cart
  • Ensure proper parts and accurate quantities are picked according to order specifications
  • Package orders and prepare them for shipping using the Matrix/ProductionWare, Oracle, UPS and FedEx systems
  • Use hand tools to combine smaller parts into larger assembly
  • Cycle count inventory as needed and report shortages
  • Use multi-step platform ladders, Pallet Jacks, and other equipment to pick and move product as needed
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
