Parts Shipper and Receiver - Nissan Cary
About The Position
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. Leith Nissan of Cary has an outstanding opportunity for a Parts Shipper & Receiver to join their team and the Holman family! This role involves ascertaining the type of part needed or assisting the customer or technician in determining the correct part for the job at hand. It includes reading catalogs and/or computer listings to obtain replacement part stock numbers, determining part availability, ordering parts if necessary, filling orders from stock, marking/logging and storing parts according to a prearranged system, and receiving and filling telephone orders. The role may also involve preparing customer bills or adding parts to service orders.
Requirements
- Understand basic automotive components and systems
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Working knowledge of computers
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
- Any automotive certifications is a plus
Responsibilities
- Scan and sort incoming freight, disperse to appropriate departments/associates
- Download incoming orders, enter into employer’s computer system and match with parts inventory
- Accurately fill wholesale orders
- Obtain parts from manufacturer, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
- Deliver parts to body shop and repair facilities.
- Pick up parts and equipment from local vendors.
- Receive FedEx, UPS and DHL packages and disburse as specified
- Sort and label incoming parts and store in inventory.
- Put away stock order parts in bins in numerical sequence
- Attend/complete required training and department meetings
- Regular and predictable attendance.
