About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Parts Service Sales Representative at their rental facility in Irving, TX (Landmark). This role involves developing and maintaining profitable, long-term business relationships and parts and service sales in an assigned territory. The position requires achieving market goals, processing sales paperwork, communicating manufacturer warranties, and submitting parts and service contract proposals. The representative will also be responsible for maintaining customer data, cooperating with other staff, participating in customer meetings and promotional activities, and continuously educating themselves on salesmanship and company products. A key aspect of the role is understanding customer equipment and fleet requirements, working proactively with internal teams, and developing customer call plans to maximize visits. The representative will also provide sales and revenue forecasts and collaborate with various teams to supply contracts, recommend spare parts, and create commercial proposals. Requirements

• Knowledge and ability to perform machine inspections, which often requires climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, etc., in, around, and under and heavy equipment

• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills to independently handle diverse business needs of varied importance, including the proper treatment of confidential information.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to procure cooperation of team
• Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain profitable, long-term business relationships and parts and service sales in assigned territory.
• Obtain accurate and adequate credit information on all accounts and assist in collection of past due accounts receivable.
• Achieve market goals and objectives on all products.
• Ensure sales paperwork is processed.
• Clearly communicate the manufacturer's warranty on all sales and/or rentals.
• Submit parts and service contract proposals as deemed appropriate.
• Furnish timely and accurate customer business activity, sales lead progress and market intelligence information to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or other data base, or location as may be applicable.
• Cooperate with other staff and share leads with other PSSRs and Sales teams in the Company.
• Participate in customer meetings.
• Assist in promotional activities benefiting the Company.
• Actively follow a program of education in salesmanship, products of the Company, and technical and other matters relating to the performance of their selling duties; participate in such training activities as may be scheduled.
• Report to management any significant information which might affect the Company; and assist in such a manner as is, from time-to-time, required by management.
• Know and understand the customers’ equipment and fleet requirements.
• Proactively work with GMs, Parts Managers, Service Managers and Parts teams.
• Develop customer call plans to maximize customer visits.
• Assist accounts with understanding their needs and promoting offerings that meet their needs.
• Provide regular sales and revenue forecasts by direct customer, product type, etc.
• Work closely with the Customer, planners, buyers, and operations teams to provide supply contracts, recommend spare parts, and commercial proposals related to Equipment Share Parts & Services.
