About The Position

The Parts Sales Rep promotes superior service to both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for finding the correct part for the customer and ensuring we meet or exceed the customer’s parts expectation. This role involves active work in a parts warehouse and distribution environment. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

  • Parts knowledge
  • Computer knowledge
  • Customer service experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive for business purposes.
  • Drug and alcohol screening (including marijuana, as Foley is a federal contractor and subject to federal requirements)
  • Criminal background check conducted in accordance with applicable laws
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, where applicable
  • Job-related physical assessment to evaluate ability to safely perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Answer customer questions or seek resolution to questions or concerns
  • Help load orders into vehicles by hand, forklift and hand trucks
  • Ensure customers are up-to-date on order status
  • Disassemble and assemble all types of hydraulic hoses
  • Participate in weekend work schedules as well as after-hour work as needed
  • Audit and inventory parts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier items up to 75 pounds
  • Regular lifting and carrying of parts weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional sitting
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and reaching at various heights, including overhead
  • Pushing and pulling materials or equipment with moderate to heavy force
  • Climbing stairs, ladders, or equipment to access inventory
  • Frequent use of hands for gripping, handling, and fine motor coordination when working with parts and tools
  • Maintaining full range of motion, including neck and trunk movement and rotation
  • Performing tasks requiring coordination of hands, feet, and visual focus
  • Communicating effectively to support team coordination and customer needs
  • Driving or traveling for business purposes, depending on location and role responsibilities
