About The Position
The Parts Sales Manager plays a key role in driving sales performance, developing a high-performing team, and delivering AutoZone’s WOW! Customer Service. Working under the Store Manager’s guidance, the role supports store operations, helps employees grow, and contributes to AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions. The position offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and build a career in automotive retail. The manager assists with supervising and developing employees; monitors sales, inventory, and performance standards; and helps maintain efficient store processes. The role also supports commercial accounts and departments, addresses customer and operational concerns, and promotes compliance with company safety standards. The position is part-time. Schedule availability must include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements

- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees and fostering an engaged team.
- Communicate effectively with customers and employees to support smooth operations and positive experiences.
- Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
- Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain operations and customer service.
- Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns promptly, and maintain merchandising.
- Enforce PPE use, promote risk management, and uphold company safety standards.
- Assist with commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues in accordance with company policies.
