About The Position
The Parts Sales Manager is a part-time leadership role on AutoZone’s Store Management team. The manager assists the Store Manager with store performance, employee development, sales, inventory, and day-to-day operations while providing exceptional WOW! Customer Service. The role supports AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions and contributes to a productive team and positive customer experience. Requirements
- Demonstrated integrity, decision-making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees and fostering a motivated, engaged team.
- Communicate effectively with customers and employees to support smooth store operations and positive experiences.
- Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
- Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service.
- Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns promptly, and maintain merchandising.
- Enforce PPE use, promote risk management, and uphold company safety standards.
- Assist with commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues promptly while following company policies.
