About The Position
The Parts Sales Manager helps drive store sales performance, develop a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional WOW! Customer Service. Under the Store Manager’s guidance, this role supports store operations, team development, inventory management, and AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions. The manager works with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain smooth operations and support customer needs. Requirements
- Demonstrated integrity, decision-making skills, and leadership abilities.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees.
- Maintain clear and effective interactions with customers and employees.
- Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
- Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with store staff and commercial department leaders.
- Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns promptly, and maintain merchandising.
- Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
- Assist with commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues in accordance with company policies.
