About The Position

AutoZone’s Parts Sales Manager helps drive sales performance, foster a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional WOW! Customer Service experience. The position supports store operations and AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions. Working with the Store Manager, the Parts Sales Manager contributes to employee development, operational oversight, inventory management, and customer service. The role also offers opportunities to build leadership skills and grow a career in automotive retail.

Requirements

Demonstrated integrity, decision-making skills, and leadership abilities.
Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees and fostering an engaged team.
Communicate effectively with customers and employees to support smooth store operations and positive experiences.
Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain operations and customer service.
Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns promptly, and maintain merchandising.
Enforce personal protective equipment use, promote risk management, and uphold company safety standards.
Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues promptly while following company policies.
