Parts Sales Manager

Diamond Mowers, LLCSioux Falls, SD

About The Position

The Parts Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing Diamond Mowers' parts sales organization by building exceptional dealer and customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and executing aggressive growth strategies. This role is equal parts strategist and executor — someone who sees around corners, not just to them. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where winning is the standard and people are the greatest asset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, with demonstrated success in parts sales, dealer development, or heavy equipment / manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading teams to exceed aggressive revenue targets
  • Strong relationship builder — internally and externally — with the ability to earn trust quickly and sustain it long-term
  • Experience managing and developing sales managers and/or frontline sales teams
  • Creative, forward-thinking mindset — anticipates market shifts and customer needs before they become obvious
  • Comfortably operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities shift and solutions must be built on the fly
  • Software proficiency: MS Office, CRM (experience implementing or optimizing CRM preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Exhibits Diamond Company Values in every interaction: Customer Focused, Accountability, Team Player, Safety, Grit

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement defined processes and procedures that position the Diamond Parts Sales Organization to consistently exceed customer expectations and outpace market growth targets.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with dealer parts managers, parts sales staff, and end-users. Go beyond transactional selling — become an indispensable business partner who helps dealers grow their own operations through education, tools, and strategic guidance.
  • Lead dealer development initiatives that expand Diamond's footprint, increase parts attachment rates, and drive long-term loyalty across the dealer network.
  • Schedule and conduct high-impact dealer and end-user visits. Analyze customer needs, identify gaps, and bring solutions — not just products.
  • Design and deliver training programs for the internal parts sales team and dealer network focused on product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and customer engagement that converts.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market feedback to internal stakeholders to drive pricing strategy, service offerings, and product expansion decisions.
  • Lead team members to achieve aggressive growth targets by setting clear expectations, coaching relentlessly, and holding the organization accountable to results.
  • Partner with senior leadership to build and sustain a culture of teamwork, accountability, grit, and winning — where people feel valued and inspired to bring their best every day.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all internal departments to drive a unified customer experience from first contact through long-term service and support.
  • Own all day-to-day parts sales leadership activities, including pipeline management, dealer engagement, team development, and revenue performance.
  • Drive consistent sales growth through disciplined process improvement and ongoing training and development of both internal and dealer sales teams.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent. Create an environment where high performers want to stay and grow.
  • Set clear goals, track performance metrics, and coach the team to exceed targets — not just meet them.
  • Promote Diamond Mowers product lines and parts to dealers, end-users, and prospective customers with energy, conviction, and deep product expertise.
  • Implement best practices in communication, sales operations, and dealer relations that scale with company growth.
  • Serve as a visible, credible leader in the field — present with customers and dealers, not just managing from behind a desk.
