About The Position

The Parts Sales Manager plays a key role in driving sales performance, fostering a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional WOW! Customer Service experience. Working with the Store Manager, this position supports store performance and operations, develops employees, and helps advance AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions. The role supports sales, inventory management, customer service, safety, and commercial account operations in an automotive retail environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated integrity, decision-making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees and fostering a motivated, engaged team.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and employees to support smooth operations and positive experiences.
• Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
• Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service.
• Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns on time, and maintain merchandising.
• Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
• Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues promptly while following company policies.
