The position involves actively engaging with customers, identifying needs, and providing recommendations using product literature, specialized software, and growing knowledge of parts and equipment. The Parts Sales Counterperson I will also support the branch with parts and equipment deliveries as needed. The role emphasizes building trust, customer service, and becoming a reliable partner to clients, with contributions being recognized and growth supported.

Requirements

  • Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of parts inventory.
  • Self-motivation and assertive drive.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person to sell company parts and other services.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record; experience pulling a trailer.
  • Above-average organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and provide recommendations.
  • Use product literature, specialized software systems, and knowledge of parts and equipment to offer timely and accurate solutions.
  • Translate technical details into actionable parts support.
  • Support the branch by assisting with parts and equipment deliveries as needed.
