About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate helps customers purchase automotive parts and accessories while creating an exceptional buying experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. The role serves both retail customers and technicians, supports parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets, and contributes to an orderly, well-merchandised parts department.

Requirements

• Two or more years as an automotive parts professional.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist technicians and retail customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and record the information in the appropriate documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts department.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales and customer satisfaction targets.
