About The Position

This position will work as branch support by coordinating the movement of parts, materials, and equipment between vendors, warehouses, and job sites. This individual will assist with inventory control, monitor incoming purchase orders, organize stock, and ensure technicians have the necessary materials to complete scheduled work. This position requires reliability and open communication with the branch team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of previous experience in a warehouse parts setting preferred.
Ability to communicate verbally with leadership and branch team members.
Basic computer skills.
Multitasking and task prioritization skills are a must.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Clean driving record and clean safety record required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
Operate a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

Sort and organize incoming parts orders from vendors or as they come off technician trucks.
Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to job sites.
Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering materials.
Keep track of incoming orders; providing updates to team when needed.
Controlling parts inventory to correct level to ensure minimum out-of-stocks on key service replacement parts.
Supply all purchase order paperwork to management.
Verify receipt of all ordered items with management.
Process and fulfill parts sales orders submitted by internal parts sellers accurately and efficiently
Assist with physical inventory counts.
Coordinate all product returns.
Attend all internal pre-con meetings to discuss projects needs as they relate to parts, equipment, and materials requirement, as well as required delivery schedules.
Notify installation/service/electrical manager of proposed delivery dates and any specific handling requirements.
Work with office manager or service manager to assist with invoicing customers for parts, equipment and installation projects.
Assist with customers and internal salesman as to parts and equipment applications and provide information resources.
Other duties as assigned.
