About The Position
Freightliner Northwest’s Route Sales Driver is responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by building strong customer relationships and efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route. This position focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of parts, while concentrating on positive customer engagement, issue resolution and growth. Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is an expanded network of 19 dealerships doing business as Gordon Truck Centers, Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, TrailerCraft, Western Mountain Bus and Freightliner of Hawaii. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups.
- Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.
Responsibilities
- Efficient parts delivery to customers on a designated route utilizing a delivery vehicle.
- Responsible for sales activities that build strong customer relationships on a designated route: Field order processing, Issue resolution, Customer training, Transitioning customer to Excelerator ordering, Management of vendor inventory programs, Growth
- Proficient use of tools and technology including dispatch systems, tablets, phones and our customer relationship management tool.
- Other duties as assigned such as shipping, receiving, general warehouse work
