About The Position

Operates vehicles to transport parts, small equipment, supplies and paperwork for Heritage Tractor.

Requirements

• Hold a valid drivers license
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs. daily. More than 75 lbs. possible depending on parts and or small equipment to be moved on parts route
• Ability to properly secure cargo being moved per DOT requirements
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Medical card preferred but not required for hiring (required once hired)
• CDL not required but preferred. Certain situations and load weights might require a CDL to be DOT compliant
• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to work in adverse and extreme weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Transports parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities and dropboxes
• Follows all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Maintains route timeline to keep consistency of delivery times for staff and customers
• Contacts stores by cell phone to see if a return stop is needed
• Maintains assigned truck(s) and related equipment
• Ensures all totes, pallets, boxes, sacks and individual pieces are properly marked with the destination location to ensure correct deliveries
• Reports to Parts Lead or VP of Parts regarding days off so that route accommodations can be arranged
• Reports any issues concerning the ability to maintain timeline (parts not ready for transport or no help provided for loading heavy parts or small equipment to VP of Parts or your Parts Lead)
• Check with Parts Lead on transfers at locations to ensure everything is moved
• Other duties as assigned
