Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One to two years’ experience in inventory management or accounting in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Well versed in navigating excel, understanding formulas, and analyzing data sets
  • Strong attention to detail with proficiency in math and process-based tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, must proactively initiate, organize, and assign tasks as needed based on workflow
  • Ability to work flexible hours; this position will require the lead to cover shortages in the department as needed
  • Ability to respond effectively to change while prioritizing and managing essential responsibilities assigned by management
  • Excellent time management and process management skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP/ERP system experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workflow and Parts Room Clerks
  • Enter and complete requisitions in the inventory control system
  • Obtain order confirmations for all Purchase Orders before filing
  • Ensure parts room policies and purchasing procedures are followed
  • Monitor expenditures and collaborate with vendors to find alternate OEM sources for better pricing
  • Work Empty Bin Box review
  • Review open PO report and follow up on outstanding items
  • Track and monitor overnight orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Receive AFE’s
  • Maintain accurate records for employee boot purchases
  • Resolve incoming freight issues
  • Maintain V2 Barcoding and scanning procedures
  • Identify and solve checkout issues or concerns
  • Conduct physical inventory, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differences
  • Monitor status of repairs
  • Coordinate and process outgoing freight according to schedule
  • Prioritize effective inventory management to minimize obsolete inventory
  • Manage over-max and zero max evaluations
  • Maintains an accurate running inventory and enter inventory adjustments
  • Process parts and supply vendor invoices (capturing discount and pricing corrections), supplying necessary data to accounting for payment and recordkeeping
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
