Requirements

  • General knowledge of the program area.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidelines, agency policy and professional standards and practices.
  • Ability to research and compile specific topics related to program area.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.
  • Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.
  • Specialized knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Orders the necessary parts for all vehicles and equipment maintained.
  • Looks at parts diagrams while working with the mechanics to identify the correct parts needed to complete repairs.
  • Communicates effectively with vendors to make purchases.
  • Accurately maintains the stockroom inventory by completing 10% monthly and 100% annual inventory counts.
  • Manages invoices in Paywise by coding and creating receipts as needed.
  • Researches and compiles information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policies.
  • Answers basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.
  • Establishes, organizes, and maintains current and historical files related to the program.
  • Collects information to help in the preparation of program reports, develops applications, prepares budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.
  • Maintains, organizes, and monitors program assets.
  • Schedules, prepares, and disseminates all program related training materials.
