About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining parts in an inventory tracking system, performing usage analysis, keeping the parts room clean and orderly, dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed, identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers, releasing purchase requisitions for approval, receiving all maintenance parts, signing vendor tickets, filling out receiving reports for accounts payable, delivering parts to maintenance personnel for specific jobs, stocking inventory in the parts room, printing documentation on inventory replenishment, unloading supply trucks, and prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision. This is primarily a 'C' shift position with specific hours on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable
  • Competent in Windows-based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn Tyson Maintenance system in 90 days
  • Must possess a high level of verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting
  • Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Work without supervision
  • Be detail oriented and have good attendance
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations/maintenance
  • Resume is required
  • 6 attendance points or any suspension on record for the last 12 months will result in disqualification
