About The Position

The Parts Puller works in a warehouse receiving, unpacking, arranging, and storing goods, as well as gathering, packing, preparing, and loading goods for dispatch. The role includes checking stock for damage and wear, reporting faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and marking and labeling stock.

Requirements

• Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse.
• Ability to operate a forklift proficiently.
• Completion of a background investigation and drug screening.
• Strong people skills.
• Good moral character.
• Physical strength, agility, and dexterity, and comfort working at heights and in adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Availability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the work environment is clean, tidy, and safe.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Accept delivery of inventory.
• Count and confirm inventory.
• Inspect inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicate errors to relevant parties.
• Mark and label stock.
• Store inventory in an accessible manner.
• Load and wrap stock on pallets.
• Build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.
