About The Position
The Automotive Yard Dismantler plays a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a quality part as described. The Yard Dismantler is responsible for properly removing all high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who must work in a fast-paced environment, is hardworking, and who can successfully meet production quotas. You must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, have hands-on automotive repair experience with a knowledge of automobiles. Requirements
- Knowledge of automotive parts
- Hands-on job experience
- Ability to work in a team
- Must be able to lift 50lbs without restrictions
- Must own and maintain all the tools necessary
- Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Is subject to intense physical labour, repetitive lifting.
- Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Diploma in mechanics or bodywork (Strong Asset!)
Responsibilities
- Remove requested parts to fulfill orders on vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety conscious manner
- Label and tag each part to be placed in stock
- Check the quality and product type of the inventoried parts
- Participate in daily team goals
- Other duties as assigned
