About The Position

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking an experienced Parts & Plates Foreman to oversee daily fabrication and production activities during 2nd shift. This position provides hands-on leadership to shop personnel and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and production schedules. The Foreman will coordinate with project management, logistics, purchasing, and other departments to maintain production schedules and ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

Previous supervisory or managerial experience required.
Strong knowledge of fabrication and production operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work 2nd shift, overtime, and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to shop employees.
Manage daily shop operations, including personnel, equipment, tools, and materials.
Maintain and update production and fabrication schedules.
Coordinate deliveries and support on-time project completion.
Establish and maintain standard fabrication procedures.
Ensure quality control standards are consistently maintained.
Evaluate production procedures and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
Communicate with other departments regarding project status, quality, and delivery.
Maintain equipment and shop facilities as necessary.
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels in coordination with management and purchasing.
Balance the shop workload and communicate production needs.
Make decisions that support company and customer objectives.
Adjust work hours as needed to meet production and delivery schedules.
