About The Position

Brooks Range Supply is a key provider of support services across Alaska. As part of the Colville family, an Alaska-based company with over 60 years of experience. We support critical operations including logistics, fuel distribution, and environmental services to keep our customers operating safely and efficiently. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Parts Person to join our team at Store 4 in Fairbanks. This position supports the Transport Division and is focused on heavy-duty truck and equipment parts. This role is essential to daily operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and providing excellent service to internal customers. The Parts Person supports efficient workflow by maintaining organized inventory and assisting with parts requests in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in heavy-duty parts, diesel, or equipment parts preferred
Experience in parts handling, warehouse operations, or a related field
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a warehouse/shop environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in trucking, automotive, or construction industries is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide customer service in person and over the phone, assisting with parts identification and orders
Source and procure heavy-duty truck and equipment parts
Process orders, pull parts, and complete invoices accurately
Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked parts room and warehouse area
Ensure inventory is properly tracked, received, and stored
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control processes
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Support operational efficiency by delivering timely and accurate service
