About The Position

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with parts and warehouse experience to join our team as an Operations Manager in our Parts Department. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. Parts Operations Managers function as part of the Parts Operations team and are responsible for leading the branch's parts department, supervising personnel, managing inventory, performing parts sales and fulfillment, and collaborating with other departments to ensure cohesive operation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of parts/warehouse management experience
• Significant sales, operations and/or technical experience
• Working knowledge of parts and service operations
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Team building skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Demonstrated track record of successful leadership
• Ability to champion and lead change
• Ability to grow and manage business-to-business sales
• Computer and accounting skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily functions of parts department personnel, providing training, coaching, and feedback on performance.
• Manage parts inventory, ensuring maximum profitability and superior internal and external support.
• Perform parts sales and fulfillment functions, providing excellent customer service and promoting related items.
• Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that we are operating as a cohesive unit.
