About The Position

J. P. Mascaro & Sons, a growing private family-owned company, is seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Parts Manager for its Berks County Division in Reading, PA. The Parts Manager will oversee the parts department, manage inventory, ensure timely ordering of replacement parts, provide customer service, maintain optimal stock levels, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing. The company has a strong history, starting with one truck in 1964 and growing into a leading solid waste company in the mid-Atlantic area.

Requirements

• One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a Parts Clerk or Manager required
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Inventory, Invoicing, and Purchase Order experience required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with auto parts or truck parts

Responsibilities

• Work with vendors to receive quotes
• Forecast parts needs and order parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Monitor the current parts inventory
• Collaborate with managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
• Enter purchase orders on our IMS system
• Follow-up and trouble-shoot orders and shipping errors
• Data entry
• Basic office duties (filing, copying paperwork, scanning documents)
• Work in a garage setting
• Perform other duties as assigned
