Requirements

Proven experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager
Strong understanding of dealership operations and inventory control
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
Ability to create and maintain a culture of accountability and teamwork
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the parts department, including retail, wholesale, and internal parts sales
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of parts counterpersons and support staff
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overages or obsolescence
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and manage returns
Establish pricing strategies and drive parts department profitability
Collaborate with the service and sales departments to streamline internal processes
Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal technicians and external clients
Other duties as assigned by management
