About The Position
MV Transportation is seeking a Parts Manager to receive inventory, control inventory, issue parts, maintain PO tracker system, send out shipments, warranty parts forms, maintain vendor relations and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Must have experience with purchasing and inventory control, not sales only
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Detail oriented and organizational skills.
- Data entry experience.
- Ability to effectively evaluate vendors.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate with experience in Excel.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work alone and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision.
- Must be able to properly prioritize, implement and manage work schedules, projects and assignments.
- Must have computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft outlook.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in written and oral formats.
- Must display initiative, professionalism, candor and tact at all times.
- Required to complete all related documents legibly and in a timely manner.
- Must be willing to take training courses as needed.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule.
- Ability to work well with others.
Nice To Haves
- Bus parts experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Placing orders.
- Data entry of repair orders.
- Resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies.
- Assisting with completing the end of the month reports.
