Performs a variety of moderately complex inventory control management activities, including picking, transacting, counting, packaging, shipping, receiving, and distribution of inventory & material. Work on assignments requiring specialized knowledge and experience. Act as the direct interface for the Inventory Control Departments with other functional areas of the Company. Receives, unpacks and verifies incoming shipments and routes to appropriate locations. Transports, transacts, weighs, counts, packages and labels materials. Physically and systematically move parts between all sequence steps of the part creation process. Fulfill orders for component parts, delivering them to 2nd operations and final assembly departments according to a schedule, and as needed. Complete routine material transactions including sub-transfers, scrap, move orders, ad hoc inventory adjustments and miscellaneous transactions. Inspects, reports, and documents damages, shortages and/or other errors to appropriate lead. Accurately performs cycle counts and demonstrates ability to diagnose discrepancies. Proficiently uses job specific equipment, technologies, and software solutions. Proficiently and safely operates warehouse vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, side loaders, utility picking vehicles and powered pallet jacks in the conveyance of materials. Problem solves and fixes common inventory discrepancies. Assists ME Techs with isolation and removal of defective and end of life material. Perform routine maintenance on component wash machines including draining and refilling machines with cleaning solution. Works on department and interdepartmental projects and assignments. Actively seeks feedback and opportunities to learn new skills and improve performance. Other duties as assigned
