About The Position

This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Aftermarket Operations Team. Directly support the GTF Ducts & Seals (DNS) Cell in a major WIP burndown effort to support the fleet! High visibility and potential for growth through demonstrated performance. Work to approved procedures, drawings, and Engine Manuals to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment. Document inspection findings and disposition parts as acceptable or requiring repair based on your findings. Integrate with the existing team to foster a collaborate and problem-solving environment. Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results. Perform mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance, & document. Recognize the need for, and arrange for, the repair or replacement of measuring equipment. Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives. Must maintain Inspection stamp. Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This is a 2nd Shift Role, Monday-Thursday, 4x10s, 3:00PM-12:30AM. Must be able to train on 1st shift.

Requirements

  • Inspection experience with current DX certification (OEM or AMO).
  • Familiarity with Solumina & SAP.
  • Able to navigate Excel and Outlook.
  • High School or GED.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DX or FX inspection certifications (OEM or AMO).
  • Previous AMO inspection experience.
  • Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic Shop Math
