About The Position
Milacron is looking for a Parts Inspector to join our team in Mt. Orab, Ohio. The Parts Inspector inspects Barrels, Screws & individual parts following detail drawings, layouts, and other written and verbal specifications for quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, thread & plug gages, height gage, optical comparator
- Working knowledge of OSHA machine safety signs
- Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year technical school in machining or engineering; or 2 plus years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice To Haves
- knowledge of CMM is a plus
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards enterprise 1, and Microsoft suite is preferred
- Knowledge of OSS and option requirements
Responsibilities
- Inspect and ship Barrels, Screws and detail parts
- Perform packaging and shipping duties
- Conducts final part inspections
- Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management
- Communicates directly with team members to resolve quality issues
- Train/guide associates and customers
